Stanthorpe Film Society is a not-for-profit volunteer based group of enthusiastic film lovers.
We show films on the first Saturday of the month, February to November, at the Arcadia Cinema, Stanthorpe.
Films are selected in consultation with members and we aim for a mix of genres, including both modern and older classics. The films we show are not generally are available on television or streaming services or in commercial cinemas.
Since 2024 the Society has hosted the MANHATTAN Short Film Festival in September.
Check our facebook page for all of our Screenings info.
Screening starts at 7.00pm, doors open at 6.30pm. We operate a limited bar and pizza can be ordered prior to the film for delivery at the interval. Tea and Coffee are available free of charge.

The Society endeavours to support the community spirit of Stanthorpe and is based at the historical venue of The Stanthorpe Cinema, the Arcadia. The Arcadia Theatre entrance can be found via Arcadia Lane, off Railway Street, between the Post office, and IGA.
Come and join us to meet like-minded people in a relaxed and friendly environment with great entertainment.
